A Better Community 

Inside the community of Mequejo in Barranquilla/Atlantico, there are families who do not have to buy the 3 meals, lack of education in kids, houses of concrete without legal documents, and a lot more problems. I targeted this community because its location, they are close to commercial areas like the 72 street, C.C exito San francisco, Americano, the 38 avenida, and too many places where they can get a job and make their life a little bit better. For these reasons I think that they have a really big opportunity to be happier and have a better economy, so, my intention is help these communities with education for work and legal education about their situations and options and finally turn Mequejo into a commercial area, I will guide them to a better future. 

First, I am going to reunite a group of exceptional people to help me with this project. These people are going to be chosen for me, they can be friends, colleagues and people who can help with my project. Then I am going to delimit the first area for the change. After that, with my crew we are going to divide in teams, every team is going to have a different task: The first group is made from people who can teach economy education. The second group where I am going to be, will be in charge of solving the legal problems of the inhabitants, problems like to get the certificate of ownership of their houses; And finally the last group is going to advertise our work in the city to catch the attention of big businessmen in the project. After we finish with our tasks, there is going to be a last chapter, we are going to promote and recommend the people we train for work in the area and make the general economy grow for a better result in the area. 

This economic, educational and social problem in Mequejo is a result of the big problem of the country, the lack of good management and one of the biggest corruptions in the world. This general problem in the country affects directly to every person inside the country because his education, his economy depends on the situation in the country. That and another really big number of things can affect the lives of each person in the country, but that is not the object of this text. So, the big question is ¿how is going to help my project in this community?  The answer is easy to explain: with the education that we give, we hope that the opportunities for these people for a better quality of life improve in an incredible way because they are going to be capable of managing his money and his budget of life in a better and efficient way. The publicity of this is for the zone became in a commercial area and this is going to improve their chances for getting a better job and with the education that they have, they are going to be able to improve their community from inside. 

With this experience I hope to learn the value of education in a country. With a better education we give to the people more chances and opportunities to have a dignified life. I think that there are too many problems in this country and few people who actually can do something to change this. That is why I am studying law, because I need to believe that there are people who want the same, who feel hurt with the situation of this country. People who really can see beyond things like the carnaval or soccer teams, there is a poor situation, people who suffer everyday the selfishness of a few people in a situation of power. This hypothetical project is just a start or a little peace of what is on my mind for this beautiful and spoiled country.
